What I enjoy about working with existing images, is being able to focus purely on arrangement, composition and balance. I started to explore collage more seriously in early 2023. I was looking for a quick and intuitive way to express thoughts and feelings. I had experimented a bit before with cutting and pasting paper bits into a sketchbook, but this was the first time I made compositions on larger sheets of paper.
A selection of these works were exhibited at the 5th and 6th editions of BAAM, in June and December 2023.
