Visual Design: idealo.de

In 2012 I started as Country Manager Netherlands at idealo Internet GmbH. Having been hired initially for my Dutch language skills, doing mostly copywriting and translation work, in time I was able to add visual design work— creating infographics to strengthen the brand. By 2013 I was coordinating the entire Creative Content project (press-releases including article and infographic) for the European travel teams. This included coming up with the concept for a press release, creating and translating it, as well as publication and promotion of the content.

I created multiple infographics for idealo using Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop, based on data provided by my colleagues. In terms of colours, fonts and style, they had to comply with the company’s existing branding.
