Visual Design: kein Abseits! e.V.

kein Abseits! is a non-profit organization realising educational projects in Berlin to promote active participation and equality for children of all backgrounds. For their annual summer festival and charity run event, Verena and Charlotte asked me to design a postcard invitation. In our first meeting they were still unsure whether to use illustration, photography or text to spark people’s interest. I suggested using a hand lettered title as the central element for the design, with smaller illustrations helping to communicate the summery, fun and social nature of this event.

The logo and corporate design were in place, created by Eva Zahneißen. After presenting a few different ideas, I developed the final design and prepared the file for printing, including an overprint layer of gold glitter! In the same style, I also created a large banner and stamp card for the festival.
